Break-through Friday
I know it’d be great if I started out my blog with an introduction maybe, some background on myself perhaps….but I’m going to dive right in!
You’ll get to know me enough by what I talk about here, and if you’ve ever got any questions, well then ask away.
For some reason I always feel as though I come under spiritual attack on Friday mornings. It has seemed stronger than normal today though. I woke up mighty early for no apparent reason and had a wave of anxiety within myself that was intense. It was the enemy trying to plant seeds of doubt in my head. Doubts about the future and about myself. It’s amazing how Satan knows our weaknesses and tries to exploit them. He is clever, I will give him that.
1 John 4:4 tells us that “greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
If we are believers in Christ, we have nothing, nothing, NOTHING to be afraid of or anxious about. Satan can plant all the seeds of doubt he wants, but he knows that we have victory over him through Christ’s blood.
So what do you do when you feel that anxious pit in your stomach that I felt and am feeling even as I write this?
When you can hear the swords of angels and demons clashing with each other as they fight over your day?
You talk with God. God is our Father; our dad; our friend….He just wants you to talk with him. Have a conversation. It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate. Tell Him how you are feeling. Jesus knows how we felt. He went through the same things we do….and more! He understands it all.

God has so many bigger things for your life, and there’s no reason for you to worry about what the future holds.
